Cathy Gurney

Cathy qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1978 and moved in to the commercial veterinary market in 1979.   She worked as a Sales Representative for several veterinary pharmaceutical companies for 10 years before moving in to a marketing role in 1989. 

From there, Cathy moved into a European sales and marketing role in 1991 working for Sandoz Agric, before returning to the UK to head up the UK commercial team of a multi-national French based company.  She was involved there for fourteen years in various roles, culminating in a global marketing role working on the worldwide launch of one of their key products. 

In 2005, Cathy set up her own company providing contract sales teams to the veterinary industry and has provided sales teams and marketing support to companies such as CEVA Animal Health, Hill’s Pet Nutrition and the Chanelle Group.  Recently, the company has expanded and Cathy has set up an additional full service sales, marketing and distribution company to help new companies coming in to the UK and Republic of Ireland veterinary markets. Cathy joined Bonovate as a Director in 2010 and ensures that the customers needs are incorporated into our design processes from the very start.
